How to freezer large batches of whipped cream:

If you have an opened container of whipped cream, you can store it in the container. But make sure that the container is not overflowing, as the frozen cream will need some space for expansion. Take out a spoonful of whipped cream to make some space for the cream. Close the container tightly and put it in the freezer. Do not forget to mark the date of freezing on it. Doing so will help you consume the whipped cream before it is too late. For freezing homemade whipped cream, take a freezer-safe and an airtight container. Make sure the container is clean and washed. Pour the leftover cream into the container. You have to leave a gap between the whipped cream and the lid of the container. This gap is essential so the cream can expand without creating a mess. You also have to mark the container with the date of freezing.

How to freezer small batches of whipped cream:

Sometimes you only need a small amount of whipped cream for use. In such cases, thawing a big batch of frozen whipped cream is the worst idea. It is better to store the whipped cream in small portions. This way, you only have to thaw the only chunk of cream that you need to use. You will have to use an ice cube tray for freezing whipped cream in small batches. This method will require you to freeze the cubes two times, but the process will keep the mess minimum. Pour your whipped cream into the ice cube tray and keep it in the freezer. Make sure not to overfill the cubes and leave some area for the cream to expand. Keep the ice cube tray in the freezer and ensure that it remains flat on the freezer surface. Take the ice cube tray out after some hours. Now, fetch the frozen cream cubes and put them in a freezer-safe sealed bag. Label the bag and put it again in the freezer.

Thawing frozen whipped cream will depend upon how you freeze it. If you have a big batch of frozen whipped cream, you will thaw it in the fridge. Once the whipped cream is no longer solid, stir the cream and use it. You will not have to defrost the cubes of cream. Just add the cream cubes directly to your recipe.
